Work Dog

This is Opus. She is a Chinese Shar-pei who is now eight years old. She has served as a work dog all of her life. This is in the companionship sense only, as she does not have to actually do any work. She spends her days sunning in front of the studio door and guarding it or lying inside the studio and jumping up to bark if anyone approaches.

Here, Opus is looking up in a questioning way after her name was called to find out what she needs to do.

Brin thanks Opus for being such a good companion and always being willing to "go to work." Opus jumps up at hearing the phrase "let's go to work" and heads to the back door ready to go.
